I have been a proud teacher of UISD at R C Centeno since 2016. I teach all five core subjects; Reading, Math, English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. 

I have been married for 19 wonderful years to my husband, Joshua Jerry. We have six beautiful, loving children: three boys and three girls. My son, Jaidev, attends RC Centeno. We have three cute cats; Ziggy, Serenity, Biscotti, and Roz. 

Family is EVERYTHING! I make it my mission to make sure my students feel empowered in the classroom by making the environment welcoming and their own. They learn to become productive citizens and caring human beings so that we all work together to achieve one goal: SUCCESS! Whatever that may be for each individual student. I encourage my students to set S.M.A.R.T. goals (yearly, weekly, and daily goals). I make it my life’s mission to exemplify my expectations by setting my own goals and sharing them with my class. My three goals this year are to become a better listener, encourage my teammates through GROWTH MINDSET practices, and continue to improve our STAAR scores. Needless to say, I am excited for a new school year and to educate your child to the BEST of my ABILITY!
